Decadence, 2025.

Decadence is a series of archival inkjet prints exploring the tension between beauty and decay. Featuring insects, overripe fruit, bones, flowers, and blood, the work brings together opposing forces—indulgence and rot, luxury and loss to reflect on femininity and the current rise of conservatism in the United States. The imagery is lush and seductive, but just beneath the surface is a sense of unease. Symbols tied to femininity are reimagined as both powerful and unruly, blurring the line between attraction and discomfort. This body of work reflects on the conservative movement to control and police women’s bodies. It’s a quiet resistance. Elegant, feral, and unafraid to confront what’s slipping through the cracks.
